Programing in a new fob
Hi,

Now when I brought my 110 puma, it came with 2 keys & only one fob for the alarm.

The guy who I brought it off assures me that he only had the 1 fob. Now if I had handed over 32K I would have expected 2.

I have now brought a 2nd fob from LR who did tell me some vehicals only had 1.

Its got to be programmed to the vehical. Now is there a way to do this myself with my Nanocom Evo or take it else where to have it done??

Any body else had this done?

Thanks Chris

Chris,

If you have the 10AS alarm ECU option enabled on your Nanocom Evo, then you should be able to do this without a problem.

You will need your old key fob and the new one to hand, as the way the Nanocom works it will delete any pre programmed fobs.

All you need to do activate the alarm fob learn process then one fob at a time, keep pressing one of the fob button until the indicators flash, or you get a beep from the horn. Do the same with the second fob and then end the learn process. Job done.

Or, if you don't fancy doing yourself - and good independent specialist can do this for you, as can a main dealer.
