Yes - about right.
I bought my own Castrol A1 ACEA A5/B5 (recommended oil) from the cash and carry and took it with me - saved about £40 on the cost of the oil....some dealers are less happy about this than others (who like to profiteer on the supply of oil)... I thought the oil for a first service on the 2.2 was C1 grade oil low saps ?

My 2.2 130 is booked in for it's first service I am supplying the parts and have been quoted £168.00 + vat by my local dealer.
They know I sell LR parts they were happy for me to supply my own service items. Genuine oil filter Sump plug 7ltr Castrol Edge Professional 5/30 C1 Simon |
