Seen something very similar on one of 'Bolt on bits' ads on eBay, and wondered the same thing.
I dare say you could make the wiring a bit tidier by running it in the recess under the arm and then through the hinge. Probably quite easy to adjust as you can just stick your arm out the window. Pete |

DLRs in the mirrors would look good if they where small ones you could also fit heated mirrors while there
But the spots would be a to postion without moving mirror It's good to be back from the dark side DC110 -2012 Black with black hood and black x-tech FFRR 4.2 vogue Renault traffic auto PT crusier convertible Laika x700 Motorhome |

Thought of getting 2 of these as reverse lamps but unsure if to have them switched or just linked to existing reverse lamp?
Possibly overkill and other drivers off though. |

Visio X Soltice there is 900 lumens.
Please note that basically additional driving white lights have to point forward. However lights pointed at 45 degrees is good for picking out tracks in forests at night time Under vehicle lighting regulations you are only allowed TWO reversing lights. We have two work/camp lights on the back of our 110's. On back of black 110 two Vision X Soltice giving out 1800 lumens. These are switched independently of reverse light. Hence they are illegal for road use as reversing lights due to number of lights. They are good for reversing up our drive between dry stone walls etc. Obviously I do not use tem on road Brendan |

With the Duallys producing 1300 Lumens each ( or 2600 for the D2s ) I think you would get too much glare off the wings if mounted on the mirror stalks - a narrow pencil beam light might be OK

certainly look like rigid duallys to me ... 4 led version. why would you mount them on the mirror stalks ? the RI dually's are excellent lights, like Gavin said, you can have flood or pencil beams, and white or amber leds. like Gavin, I have ambers mounted into my D44 HD bumper. RI also sell coloured lenses for these in red, blue and amber. at night even the ambers are very bright and enough to drive without headlights on |
