!). There seems to be an abundance of dealers in the west mids but which is the best one, particularly for aftersales etc ?. Stratstone Solihull is the closest but prepared to set down roots further afield.

If you look through my posts you will see the stratstone view of yours turely. We have bought (since they were evans halshaw) Freelanders, Discos and the last defender from there and they have got worse. You may notice a theme - if you would like some more info just pm me. My local dealer is also Statstone Solihull but I bought from Roger Young Land Rover in Saltash, Cornwall! Long story - but the 400 mile round trip to collect my 90 was worth the saving.

I certainly would not recommend S. at Solihull and to be honest I didn't think too much of G.S. at Coventry when they did a small repair to rear qtr although the job the did on wing top was 1st class ! ?
C. at Erdington told me my car was just fine when quite clearly it was not! however they all seems to have good sales? so as and when I come to buy another it looks like to be doing some searching myself for the best dealer. |

I've found Likes to be OK as they seem to know what a Defender is, unlike a well known Gloucestershire dealer..

Not dealt with them but best mate has - Hereford LR are very good and match prices.
Avoid Droitwich LR from what I have heard, but I may be wrong. |
