Peteborough LRO Show !
Just a query and a show of hands really to see who is going to the show !

Also, what the possibilities are of having a DEFENDER 2 club display ?
I'm not suggesting we all start competing for best club display but I reckon a good show of really nice examples could generate some real interest ?

Just a thought ? DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN

Chalky,

I should be going....but probably not with the defender Sad. But I do pick up a FFRR later today so should be a nice relaxing drive there. Even if there isn't a stand/area would be still good to meet up for a coffee with any of yous

What can I say, I am a REME tech!! Nah, it is the hire car I have whilst the fender is in the shop. Just picked it up and is a 58 plate Vogue V8 and drives like a dream!!!

I will let you know as they might not be able to sort flights out to Norway on time,

Ah Norway !
I know it well ! I spent a couple of winters out there, I didn't know they still used the trg areas out there ?

And, there is a good reason you will be getting lots of money for being out there !

Fortunatly for me it is a maintainers course for this:

I will be hosted by the company who makes them in a nice 4 star hotel also food and beer paid for by them Wink.

I have my fender in that one you said- they seem super switched on to them and 70% of the vehicles there are Defenders rather than the usual dealerships who have all Discos and RRs out front and back. Oh, and nearly bogged th FFRR in on a mudy track- at least it has a load of mud up the sides now!!

Just had the first day today and have been informed that it is live firing on Friday with 0.50 Cal and 40mm cannon Twisted Evil Very Happy Twisted Evil Very Happy Twisted Evil Very Happy Twisted Evil Very Happy - vehicle mounted so using the stability control on moving targets too!!!

As for stoppages I think we will flip rank for it!!!

Only downer out here is £7.20 a pint!!! But working a way around itat the moment as food allownace is £78 a day (Decent meal is about £60)

are there any issues with customs when bringing something like that back.

I work near the centre of Brum and can't help but think having one of those on the roof of my car could make the journey home somewhat more enjoyable Very Happy
