2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Santorini Black

Spec of OEM Stereo and speaker upgrade?

Does anyone know the exact model of stereo, subwoofer and speakers Land Rover are fitting as the upgrade package on the new defenders?

I know that the head unit and sub are Alpine but keen to look at the specs.

The stereo is and Alpine CDE-132 or Alpine CDE-134 I think.

Alpine also do the Alpine CDE-136BT which has Bluetooth and DAB

Got the Alpine CDE-133BT in my MY13.

Both myself and the dealer were surprised as I'd not spec'd any upgrade/optional extras over standard XS spec. Mic is fitted to the top of the steering cowl.

Can't be very helpful I'm afraid - not had the vehicle long and have always had people in the vehicle when travelling so haven't really played with the unit yet.

Just downloaded the manual for it today and might spend a little time playng with it over the next week or so.

Spend some time and have a play with the sound settings playing some music you're familiar with.
The integrated bluetooth works like a charm. Once paired, your phone connects automatically everytime you get in, and your contacts appear on the radio display which I thought was a nice touch.

Pete - did you spec the BT elements as optional items or did they just come with the standard XS spec?

Bluetooth is standard on XS, option on other specs
