it really sucks... why can't the police do something about it ... it's been going on for ages, they must have an idea who it is...

Sorry to hear about the missing parts! It does seem to be bit of a hotspot round here at the min, you would like to think that the police are onto whoevers doing it and catch them soon!

Who steals a Land Rover's headlights?
They're not exactly rare, expensive or special. |

Quite right, of course. But still, I can understand the theft of doors or bonnets as they go for mega money... but a 7" round headlight which you can get for £20 or so? Fair point Lorryman, but I would imagine only the nearside one to be missing in that case. |

OP doesn't say on here but they posted elsewhere that it's on a 12 plate. OP also doesn't mention any lighting upgrade, so assuming it's the bog standard lights. Perhaps the scrotes haven't tackled a new one yet and are being careful not to make assumptions.
Then they whip a couple of bits off to make it look like a parts theft. Owner sorts missing parts and scrotes come back a couple of weeks later with a lot more knowledge now to take the risk to try to pinch it outright. Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless. |

Fair point but some prat nicked the air inlet grille from the drivers side wing on mine a few nights ago, rang the main dealer and a new one is less than £4. It's amazing what some people will steal. |

I wonder if it just fell off? Went out to mine last weekend and it looked loose, next thing it's on the floor: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Does it just press on and pull off?
