I tried a search and was surprised to not find this thread anywhere, maybe I missed it. But after looking through lots of pictures and seeing tons of photos of Defenders that are modified to look good, I just get the sense that most people do it very wrong. So, I can't help but be curious, which Defender is your favourite?
To make it interesting, post a picture or link to the one that you like most with the reason you like it and what you'd change to make it even better. It can be yours if that's honestly the one you think is the best looking out there. It doesn't need to be a forum members' car, it can just be a photo that you've seen anywhere. Let's try to keep it strictly aesthetic though, so it's the best LOOKING from the outside. Not concerned about what engine it has or seats. Things like lift and wheels/tyres can be taken into account seeing as they effect the appearance. So, I'll start: I have to give the nod to Killer's Blue 90: Click image to enlarge It's one of the only Defenders that's stood out in my eyes for being unique having almost any attention paid to colour. The blue/black is a theme I was very close to going with myself, but I decided I'd sooner not pay for a paint job right now. If I'm honest, I don't love 90's, but I really like the look of that one despite that fact. The only changes I'd make would be to make the steering guard all black, the side runner chequerplating black and to remove the LAND ROVER lettering from the bonnet. Also I'm not sure why the stripe doesn't continue around the nose and I think that generally Defenders look better without the bump from the air conditioning fan. Lastly, I'd extend the wheelbase another 10" So, which is yours? My Travel Page |

The best Defender is one that's used properly.
More mud than paint visible. |

Chris - You've basically just re-quoted a whole page of duplicate info. The forum police will be down on you like a ton of bricks.
Still say you should be lifted with muds on there wider arches and so on. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

The best looking Defender is a bog-standard farmer-spec one that hasn't had a single thing changed from the moment it came off the production line.
In my view it would be a pre-Tdci model as I can't stand that awful bulge in the bonnet, but as long as it hasn't had several tonnes of bolted to it, had ridiculous wheels added, been lifted/lowered etc. then it's fine by me. |

All Defenders look great... Especially mine (beauty is in the eye of the beholder) Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)
