Bit harsh..... Recent hotspots are South Yorkshire (nearly the Midlands!!) and Essex (deffo South). Remember Yorkshire is a huge county and has a very large rural Land Rover owning population, so if statistically it is probably no worse than anywhere else in the UK for actual numbers of thefts of Land Rovers per 1000, (or whatever stat is used for these things). Another plus of North Yorkshire is there are no fixed speed cameras! Our blog - http://landytravels.com/ Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |

Better watch out Chris, you're in Essex aren't you I think I'll show my appreciation for Yorkshire now, as it is a wonderful place! Some lovely scenery, and friendly people, and that's actually where my Defender came from An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

Live Promotions did send a letter out saying that it was going to be Harrogate on 18/19th May (Look HERE However Live Promotions website still says says Driffield 11/12th May! Personally I think that is down to a slack setup at LP not altering their website. Chris, whereas the 2012 Spring Adventure Show was not quite as busy as previous years it certainly was not a flop! There were two shows in 2012 which may well come under that title but they were not Live Promotions events. The Great Yorkshire Showground is about 5 miles from the A1M Personally I believe that showground will be much easier for the majority of people to get to then the Driffield showground. Since it is closer to the major Motorway network I believe it is likely to be more attractive to visitors as it will save travel time and fuel costs for lots of people. Brendan |
