Electric-y problem...
So I haven't really got any electronics experience and unless someone comes up with a eureka answer which is idiot proof when it comes to fixing it, I will probably get LR to fix it for me, but here is my problem:

The rear fog light button AND the Roo Light Spot lights both work temperamentally, but also are not related when they do/don't work.

The rear fog one is the one I've tested most because it's easier to do whilst driving without p*ssing too many other drivers off! And I can press it to my hearts content without it working (neither dash nor button light up) and then 10 minutes later I try it and it works perfectly!

The spots I haven't got a clue... I thought maybe water...? But then I tried them in the heavy rain and they worked fine, then after a period of traffic with dipped beam, I tried them again and nothing?!

Has anyone had any experience with something similar?

Cheers,

Andy

I'm having trouble with my s/lights , they are only working when they feel like it too, had it all in pieces other week stripped back to basics, changed relay etc put it all together and nothing , tried old relay and they decided to work fine ????
Parked car and then nothing again, following morning all working , checked today and off again.
Probably leaning towards faulty relay as wondering if its sticking with all damp weather ????

Sorry I can't be of help but got that off my chest anyhow Shocked Dave

I'm not sure if this helps, but, whenever I've had intermittent electrical faults a lot of them have come down to dodgy earth connections, can't say if yours is but always a good starting point. Thumbs Up Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty..
Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be!

both probably operate on relays, i think the fog relay is in the seat box, make sure it's properly seated.
