Single DIN self contained.
Single DIN 7" flip out monitor. Or double DIN. ? Some good starting points there. (Now prepares to get shot down for making any suggestions.) $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

All the more reason to keep the one you've got or upgrade it sticking to the same manufacturer. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

BP - For the £300 benchmark personally I'd go for the KVT526 by Kenwood as it has ALL the features you mention except BT (which you can add on) and many more inc video and tv ect (IF you wanted it. I haven't)
The KVT526 is a DVD player with flip out monitor and variable button display colours (Any colour not just preset but a colour chart) Also made for iPod / iPhone. If that isn't what your looking for and would rather just have a contained unit with no screen then I can look into that for you. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

Not for that sort of money (unless your mandarin and soldering is good ) I'd agree with getting colour right and making a short list from there, nothing worse than a bright orange blob in an otherwise calm sea of green. I bet you'd still have a long list, some have a limited choice of colour, some can be 'tuned' to give any colour. Decent size buttons are a must as well, I find the volume controls on my Clarion a bit fiddly while driving so end up using the remote more often than not, nice big volume knob if you can get one. Real shame about the Parrot, that had lots of potential but if the software isn't a1 then its not good, had the same issue years ago with one of the first Treo - (palm powered) smartphones, great when it worked but the software was flakey so the phone would shut down as well as the computer bit Probably best to stick to a 'named' brand is all I can say - try phoning a couple of 'customer service' departments to see how sorted they are (in case you need help later on) DJ 1989 200tdi 90 csw 2011 110 usw Orkney grey Buy British 🇬🇧 Defender Clothing Designs available at http://www.rangesports.com/acatalog/Defender-Stuff.html |

That's where on-screen volume controls come in useful. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

Mine's top notch! Carried out one upgrade since purchase. Steve advised me against the second upgrade as it had a few 'quirks' subsequently I have not carried any software upgrades since. Best philosophy with my luck is "If it ain't broke don't mess with it, things will only get worse (possibly)! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

D J - How much!! For that much though proper outlets i.e. JustKenwood you could get the HU. BT. TV. Navi. the whole lot.
Dunno what use using TV is though seeing as it's illegal to even have on whilst driving even if naturally you won't be watching it whilst driving. Idot's law. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |
