What is this sealing tape? - I want some!
Under the 2nd row seats in the 110 DCPU, quite a few seams are sealed using an aluminium tape about an inch wide which appears to have a good 1mm thickness of some black "dum-dum" like stuff on it, then a very sticky adhesive coating.

Some of it was fitted at the factory and it was oversprayed with the body. Some was fitted after painting at the factory.

I have had a fair bit pulled off and redone by the stealer under warranty as it leaked like a sieve.

What is this 3-layer tape called and where do I get it?

I have searched on the net a fair bit but not knowing what it is, I'm struggling Rolling Eyes

Tvm, Mart

Is it adhesive or thermal application?
Could be worth searching both.

It's probably bitumen/flashing/flashband tape. You can buy it at most DIY stores
