I'm very unsure of the loudest.com stuff, it's not an established brand that I've heard of and has the longevity been tested by anyone on here. What's your experience go beyond?

Doesn't Ken also run some of their stuff? Does it have the quality of sound as well as the loudness of loudest! Smile ===================================

Sony. Clarion and Pioneer are all worth a look with good quality head unit wise. With speakers and subs and the like if I was you I would be looking at well known premium brands with a good power to it. Saying that too much power isn't always good either especially highs. You'd soon get bored of it trust me and have it turned off most the time.

Hi Lish, I have no experience of how theloudest stuff sounds at all

I've bought a shed load of it to install over the holidays and will report back after that.

How a 'sound stage' sounds is totally subjective, I installed some Kenwood speakers in my last 110 on recommendation and was really disappointed with them.

I really do think the whole thing is a lottery in the 'mid price' level and also very much down to how stuff is installed

My 2p worth ....

I went to the Isle of Man to fit a Nakamichi unit in a Range Rover for Nigel Mansell back in the day, it was the only tape player I've ever seen where you could electrically move the tape head in and out to get the best sound - and it was an amazing sound !

"back in the day" Nakamichi was a top of the range Japanese company, I should never have got rid of my Dragon tape deck at the same time as my Revox and Studer gear...

Today it's just another great name on not-so-great Chinese products.

When was this exactly? Being part of the 'younger generation' I have never heard of it before. Confused ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Ah that explains it then I'd have been too young to notice. Embarassed

Changing the subject. I was looking at that the loudest . com site earlier and the power figures certainly are interesting. 2000w 6x9's Shocked Looks good in general but not very well known which is probably putting a lot of people off. Would be interested to hear how they last and the quality. If all is good in those aspects then I'd say their worth a punt.. Good reasonable prices too. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Blaupunkt. Never heard anything, or experienced bad with them. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender
