Alternatively:

a) Do you love the way it looks to you, not give a crap about everyone else and enjoy using it for... whatever?
or
b) Do you actually care about what other people think and drive it to impress them?

It's actually not that clear cut, even for me...

My first impression when I saw Killer's was "pretty thing, but is it strong enough to call a steering guard?" As Party Monkey says, it would be interesting to know some technical specs as well...

I swapped my OEM alu guard for a galv Nakatanenga one which isn't as pretty but DOES have recovery eyes. Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Oi Thud
I think you need to modify your survey so the girlies on here are not excluded.
A) I've got a lot of big girl's blouses in the wardrobe but I don't think I am one.
B) If I were a real man I think Bren would divorce me that's assuming that he would have married me at all

I know for a fact that pamw would be a b but she isn't a reAl man either. Rolling with laughter

Yet another thread which has gone into a major discussion Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes , The steering guards are made for the sort of market were yes people like to have there landys looking smart hence the high gloss finishes etc. I have as party monkey said Thumbs Up not told anyone the thickness yet but the thickness of them is actually 5mm and they are made from steel so no they are not flimsy. For the Offroad sort of person steel guards are perfect and alot stronger than aluminum ones but yes you wouldnt have a high gloss one on a rock crawler would you that is why we can also offer a galvanized guard for the hardcore offroader. But if you do greenlaning and light offroad the painted version shouldnt be a problem if you like that sort of thing. And again we are down the road of personal choice, i would never raise a land rover again just because i dont like it and dont need it but dont get me wrong i still love the look of a lifted landy. Its personal choice if you like my steering guard then comment and buy one Whistle Laughing if you dont like it why not send me a message to tell me what i could do to improve it but by what i have just said i cant really improve as im catering for both markets the road landys and the offroad ones Thumbs Up CSK Automotive

To add with the comments on the bolts- from what people are saying a product needs to surve a purpose the bolt be it made from gold, stainless or just zinc coated it still does the same job so whats the issue? i cant cater for everyone, not all like bolts not all like torx head but the option is out there for you to pop down to the local bolt store and get what ever ones you want but for me to keep the cost down and for you to simply fit the guard i have opted for zinc coated bolts Thumbs Up CSK Automotive

MOG - When I said about DRL's spreading what I was meaning was they seemed to appear on Paddocks and FF's site as being newly available. I too haven't seen any in person either. Thumbs Up TheThunder RollsπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
