I am not at all surprised...... Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

My wife of some twenty plus years is in the kitchen with my daughter preparing an evening snack whereas I'm watching tv and doing a bit of browsing at the same time. Any other questions? ![]() Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. Too bad it cost a tad much to ship to Malaysia ... wouldn't mind one colour coded to the car ... even if it would be scratched in no time here.

Holes do serve a purpose, they stop all the muck getting caught up behind the guard. I really don't see the point of fitting a steering guard unless you may need one because you go off tarmac. Why add weight just for looks? Reminds me of the kids that used to bolt huge spoilers on to their Ford Sierras years back, waste of money. Any guard needs to be functional rather than pretty. Mine certainly get put to use for purpose. I use the local BOAT's on a regular basis all be it very short sections. Not exactly rock crawling I know but it's nice to have the protection there in case there is a possibility of getting hit more than likely tree branches the lanes I use. Of course it needs to be functional if it is at least to live up to it's name. However it seems that Killers steering guard is presumed not to be functional just because it is also pretty. |

Steering guards & diff shields are like insurance. You hopefully won't need ther service, but if you do, you're covered (literally). Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy.
