Have you tried jacking the front up so that both wheels are free from the ground. See if one side is binding as it may be that there is some dragging of brakes or a bearing binding giving the effect of letting one wheel spin easier/faster than the other. It might be worth doing this when it's cold and also after a fair bit of travel when it's warm and has shown the symptoms you describe.

I have looked at the wheels and brakes.
Everything moves free and easy. I had two different official Land Rover garages a look at it. As they can not locate the mistake they are afraid of channging parts that could cause the problem. The one standard answer here in Germany ist "it is a Defender and normal" or "we are sorry we do not know what is wrong with your car. As we have problems do get our fault search and the parts paid from Land Rover so we do nothing". (It is not possible do get direct contact do a technical Land Rover man only with the costumer departement). Defender 110 TD4 (Experience) |

It's probably not much help but I find my (German) 110 is very sensitive to the camber of the road... and many German roads (including Autobahns) have significant camber. Mine also apparently pulls to the right, although if I drive on the left side of the road (as I learned) it pulls to the left Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Hi Pupsi
Please send Naks on the forum a PM. He had a very simmilar issue that was eventualy resolved by the pannel beaters inserting some kind of very small spacer somewhere in the suspension after LR could cure his problem. |
