courtesy light
Hi I realise this has been asked before on a previous post. But if any one can point me in the correction direction Bow down

I am looking to fit a switch to the read door of my hardtop (I've already got the correct switch) so the courtesy light comes on when I open the rear door. The hole for the switch is there as is the wee plate on the back door that should push the switch in when the door is closed. Seems a bit tight on Land Rover not to give you this switch.

But there is no wire to connect this to Big Cry . Has any one got any idea where this is hiding? Michael

The wire runs along under the headlining to the back and then down next to the door. Im guessing you dont have a rear headlining either? The wire will run up the A-post and to a terminal under the front headlining and will stop there if you dont have a head lining. All you have to do is extend this wire.

Pete.

Cheers Zinke. Smile

Do you know where about inside the front headlining I should be looking or even the colour of the wire? Don't really want to rip if all down but I suspect I might have to. Rolling Eyes Michael

Check and see if the loom has been taped up above the headlining. I think I have the loom which would do the job in my shed somewhere ?
