As title - can I straight swap an Odyssey PC1500 with the OEM Puma 2.4 battery without any modifications?
Did a search but couldn't quite get the specific answer. Would be great if someone has done it ![]() I would go and measure but it's -5 and dark outside and I've only just got warm ![]() Thanks Matt Tell someone you love them today because life is short. Yes
![]() I have the 1500DT (double terminal version) and it fits the Puma and TD5. As Brendan said, you may need to trim the red + cover a bit. A couple of general tips.
If the positive terminals are not covered by a plastic cover, consider fitting one, use a piece of rubber over uncovered positive terminals or use insulating tape on underside of battery box lid. If using crocodile clips to jump start a vehicle use fully insulated clips, otherwise you might see some rather big sparks. Brendan |
