Anything specifically wrong? I know it seems weird and the whole eBay history looks dodgy but I'm just nosy... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Fraudulent sale of vehicle documents.
The vehicle should have been declared scrapped. |

Reported on LandyWatch too and flagged up to AVCIS.... Hopefully, they can get enough info to flag the file at the DVLA and then Mr or Mrs buyer gets a visit when they try to register new ownership

Thanks guys - I'm too innocent of such things (and the system works differently here).

Apart from being illegal to sell a V5.
Ringing or given a new identity to a stolen vehicle or a cat A or B insurance write off ( I.e. should not be on the road again) Also register a 'newish' vehicle on an old V5 it can become a 'historic vehicle' with zero road fund tax to pay! Going slightly OT Now how easy would it be for the MOT inspector to check engine and chassis number at inspection time? Brendan |
