Tomorrow (I hope) I'll remove the LR original rear mirror and I'l install the new one (autoDIM).....

If I'l do the job 'l post the photos.....

It is like an original installation, Outback Engineering philosophy.

I fitted one from a SAAB 95 last year as it fits without much modding, the only thing is that the Puma is that high It was rarely used/worked. Also as it wasn't that much use to me it didn't justify cutting the sun visors to allow permenant fitting that I took it out and replaced the standard OEM mirror which works fine for me, now auto dimming wing mirrors......that would be a worthwhile mod. Thumbs Up

ps, i still have the mirror if anyone wants it (FOC), auto dimming from a SAAB 95 with a shorter arm than the OEM one.

I can't quite understand what it is(besides being a mirror) and what it does... Embarassed

although I need a new mirror beacause can't re-fit the original one because of that same roof console... Regards

yes! Embarassed but aparently I'm the only one...everybody else I know re-fited the mirror! and it's an outback console! Razz Regards

You need to move up the front part of the roof console (like mine), grinding the front plate holes (red part)
