this might belong in the TD5 forum.
I can get a custom exhaust made for my 110 for about £280+ vat. It would include fitting, and would fit from the catalyst back, including removing the cat, and joining to existing turbo downpipe. Exhaust man was very friendly and happy to chat about it. Said better to use my existing downpipe, as for him to build the downpipe with the flexi as the original wouldn't really be cost effective, adding another £100+ to the price. Thoughts, alternatives and options please folks. |

Straight through on the TD5 is no probs . Lovelly sound , more power and no issues for the turbo . I had mine done in 2006 . Sadly i cant do the same on my new 2.2 cos of the silly DPF .

How was the noise on long journeys? I don't want to get out deaf.

Although a fantastic , unique never to be heard again exhaust note from the straight through TD5 , it was a tad monotonous on a long journey , like i took mine to Russia but can live with it . Couldnt live with those boy racers and subaroos exhausts . Plenty of owners have done their TD5s . Oh how i miss my TD5
