Just back after nearly 4 hours of blizzards and snow storms pretty much 15miles after leaving the hotel car park. Have seen a BMW sat across 2 lanes after spinning off and the Snow settle on the M5. Very glad to be home, great weekend, great people and many many thanks to James, Tim, Mark and Jim for all their efforts and assistance on what was yet again a fantastic weekend away with the girlfriend and the Land Rover. No scratches, but am now less 1x number plate which is MIA, dodgy fixing tape I recon. Lots of pics to follow ===================================

Yep, fantastic weekend. Weather could not have been any different to last year. Was a tad on the wet side. Hope everyone got home safely. Was great to meet everyone and hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. Lots of pics to come

‘Game of two halves’ seems to sum up our weekend…
Saturday was excellent… got to the hotel by around lunchtime and then had a very pleasant afternoon just relaxing and making full use of the hotel leisure facilities. It was great to catch up again with folks/organisers from last years trip and to meet some more forum members, some of whom, we’d earlier swam past and then sat next to in the bar without even knowing until TJ arrived and made the introductions Dinner was great. Food, company and chat all top notch and a gift too (many thanks DJ !) Even my daughter came out of her shell and was far more chatty this year than last, although she needs to work on her French a touch perhaps …… We called it a night fairly soon after dinner and it wasn’t long after that the wheels fell off….. Text arrives from Mrs PM back in Bucks saying she’s coming down with the lurgy that pretty much the rest of the family had suffered from earlier in the week. Not a lot that we could do there and then, so we check in again early Sunday morning hoping that she might be okay. Sadly not and she’s going to struggle to cope all day with the two remaining kids at home, one of whom is a toddler and the other not really old enough, or indeed interested enough, to help out. Options are considered but in the end it seems the best course of action is to bail out on the laning and head home….. Bitterly disappointed as I’d been looking forward to it for a good few months. Even my daughter was gutted as she’d warmed to whole idea again throughout the Saturday. It was a rather subdued journey home. Still, on the plus side, we had a great Saturday and met some great people both again and for the first time. Please keep the pics coming folks and many thanks to James, Mark, Tim & Jim for organising Mrs PM feeling much better today (bl**dy typical… 24 hours too late), so now the guilt trip starts in earnest in preparation for the pass out for next year or sooner. What a great weekend!
Plenty off grey landys and grey weather but that just added to all the fun. Special thanks to James, Mark, Tim, and Jim for the help and advice over the weekend. And to all you other guys and girls for your excellent company and for all the landy chat that's been done. Thanks to Dave for the Mug. Pride of place in the display cabinet for that. Sorry we missed you and Tanya (and Ruby) this morning, but the wife couldn't get out of bed! Are you getting Recaro seats now then Ric? Don't tell Helen though... Annebel, I hope you finished your homework off ? A few photos: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge ....and thanks to the gate openers and closers Cheers everyone.
