Land rover all in one Key fobs, same as Dgardels batches,
Hi all

I have a problem with the all in one key for my defender.
I recvieved the key quite some time ago from one of Dgardels batches but unfortunately I lost the programming pod for it since then and I went to land rover dealer today to try get it programmed but they said they couldnt so what can I do?

Any suggestions?

Its for a 2002 double cab td5 110 and key is already cut to it.

Regards

I have sent them a email, my key looks the same as theirs!

I also have another bug bear, key fob range, replaced the batteries and the range is still Censored as in next to the car!

I heard of a mod to extend the range of the wire aerial, where is this wire on a 2002 TD5 110?

The alarm control box is bolted to the bulkhead behind the instrument binnacle

Sounds like they have a reusable programmer, so play your cards right and maybe they'll lend/rent it to you Smile

Range on the one I got from Dgardel has a better range than the originals, not as far as some I have had in the past but better than the Smart car which is about 10ft!

I reckon I can operate it from at least 30ft, as well as doing it from indoors.

This is on a puma though.

Hope you get it sorted, nothing worse than losing a bit (or worse still instructions!)

@Matt (FCX) - Probably best to deal with this by PM - remember anyone can see what's written here. OK, you could argue that anyone 'in the know' will already know that, but you know where I'm coming from. Thumbs Up 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Look for an orange wire with a grey trace. Pin 26 on the AS10 plug.

Thanks all, my TD5 110 was produced early 2002 so should be ok

but Lorryman has sent me a very informative PM with all the details which im very appreciative of!

Is there anybody local to Cardiff that has Nanocom or MSV2 to enable me to program my keys to the 110?

Regards

The Land Rover dealer is wrong...

I can programme (and supply) these keys Wink

Is the key still in its packet? Does it have the DA ** ** ** number?
