It is quite hard to figure out what has actually happened to that one from the photos. It has clearly had a hard low frontal impact, but like you I have never seen the complete body slide forward like that. I wonder if perhaps it had something very heavy in the back which has impacted the bulkhead behind the seats hard enough to rip the rear tub free from its mounts. After all the rear tub is not really very securely attached to the chassis. Whatever happened, I am glad I wasn't in it at the time! |
