If your turbo failed and got hot, I would guess that the oil might have suffered in the feed and spill pipes, causing the grunge you describe. My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk

Change oil at 6000 miles or 6months without fail.My grandfather was an automotive engineer at the turn of the last century (1899-1900).He always said to me the cheapest thing you can buy for a car is oil and grease.
My brother works for one of the worlds largest Quarry companies, they have put their mobile plant maintainance out to a third party.Service intervals have been extented from 125hours to 500hours,and failures have started to occur.A new v12 Cat engine is a tad more than a few gallons of oil! Its never over in my land rover. 2007 Defender HTop. 1952 Series One 80" 1977 Muir-Hill 111. 2014 Triumph Tiger800xc 1999 Discovery 2 td5 1982 Ransomes TSR300D. 2002 Yamaha XT600e. 2010 Freelander2 (the wifes) 2008 John Deere X140 |
