Evening Steve,
I saw my first 110 X-Tech last week, I must admit it was very smart, post some pics when you get the time I was very attached to my old Freelander TD4, which was seven years old from new, though I can't wait to get behind the wheel of my 110 XS, USW everyday now, the whole family love it, and the looks I receive from passing motorists ( of jealousy ) me thinks. Cheers Keith |

It's all to be expected Keith, 7years, that is a long time. It's driving envy when people go past, always has, always will be. Especially as we pass them when driving up a snowy hill ===================================

The Orkney Grey. The only ones available, not sure I'd want the bronze. If I did, I'd just get it sprayed that and changed on the registration, them I would be the owner of 1 of the 11 Nara bronze x tech 110's
Photos as and when I have it and start to upgrade =================================== Steve 90 xs sw in Stonoway Grey - Sold 110 USW X-TECH |

Hi Steve....Nice one
Looking forward to the pics when you get it, are you buying locally? I am in Bourne end so give me a wave when you see a fierenze red 90 Puma or a white 90 pick up 300TDI! I got my Puma in March this year so I know how excited you must be....and the smell of a new Landy is awesome BTW I upgraded my speakers with focal's and used the small powered Kenwood sub at the back of the cubby box, but I guess you will have more space to play in a 110! Enjoy your new toy Dave Landy Mad Defender 90 XS Puma 2.2TDci Defender 90 300TDI pick up |

Will look out for you Dave. Brought from Chipperfield Land Rover.
Collected today and immediately put about 50 miles on it. Very much quieter than the 2.4, less coarse and low rumbles. Need some rails ASAP as my left leg is hard pressed against the centre console. Regardless of that it is Magnificent! Girlfriend has named it Lunar after the interior and the grey colour. Not so much in relation to a lunar module, all aerodynamic and sleek, which i am happy to say, mine is not. On my way home I stopped to give it its first full tank (Chipperfield have provided me half a tank when i collected, very kind. (Its the little things that make the whole package amazing from them, very well recommended)), the attendant was unreserved at his awe of the gleaming mass of Green oval on his forecourt and complimented it profusely. I then took a leisurely cruise over to Halford's to get some Mer hybrid wax for tomorrow morning paint protection duties and was again greeted by 2 chaps returning to their car who declared it 'awesome' and (in their own dialect) politely asked me to have a look round my 'sick piece of ride'. Checking there were no valuable in the car I honoured their request and they had a look inside. that satisfied their curiosity and they got into their pimp wagon Citroen Saxo VTR, revved the monkey nuts off it and crawled away in a plume of smoke and clutch burn, with a little added bald tyre smoke for good measure. I have since gone down to our local train station as the only place in the neighbourhood with (kind of) flood lights and have taken a few photo's. Here goes: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge And finally one of the mileage, me being a little bit an*l Click image to enlarge More tomorrow when I have a few wee changes done to it and more of a 'how it feels to drive' post. regards =================================== Steve 90 xs sw in Stonoway Grey - Sold 110 USW X-TECH |

Got to let the newness wear off a bit Russ before I get it filthy, I was still pulling out Salisbury Plain from it last week when I was taking off the steering guard and changing the wheels.
I may put in a request for a passenger ride for the next outing though with someone. =================================== Steve 90 xs sw in Stonoway Grey - Sold 110 USW X-TECH |

Smart Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
