All this is true !!
Just been speaking about this with Mrs Greeni.... Had a guy at work today from Tokyo,,, Ong Thong !!! Then William Williams.. The missus then told me about an old lady who came in to her work named Fanny Heirs !! Plus a guy who changed his name...this is real.. 'Campaign to expose Staffordshire Police Corruption'

In the office where I work, all the names are on the doors in the corridors.
My favourite was a French guy called "Maurice Danceur". Sadly it spoils the joke when you have to explain to "foreigners" that grown men dress up, put bells on every appendage and hit each other with balloons on sticks  Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Not sure how true this is, but my old manager said he used to work with someone called Peter Nutt. P Nutt. Then he married someone called Hazel. Hazel Nutt.

I worked with a girl called Theresa Green, it was a married name so heaven knows why she changed it. Then I knew someone who named his daughter Lydia Binns.

Several years ago I remember a couple that start to flirt (Both were good friend of us).
The main problem was that the family name of the man were Toro (bull) and the girl family name was Barriga (belly). As a custom here when the woman get married their use her family name and then followed by "de" (of) and the family name of the husband. In this case if both married the wife complete name will be Teresa Barriga de Toro, that can translate like Teresa Belly of bull. After she realize that the loves ends almost inmediately. When I was based over in Atlanta once I had to visit a local customer to give tech support
The chaps name was Randy Burger, every brit in the office cracked up but our US colleagues really could not understand why we were wetting ourselves He who dies with the most toys wins
