Shocks - I just upgraded to Koni Heavy Track RAID (from Defenderbits, site sponsor) - massive increase in road manners...MrsK now actually likes the journey (rather than complaining all the way Rolling Eyes ) Springs are standard CSW on mine (110 USW), not changes ARB yet (and probably wont)

Noisekiller makes it quieter so you can talk above 50mph (especially when the roads are wet, and you get all the npoise from the rear wheelarches)...that's a huge benefit Thumbs Up Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

Firstly spend some money on security.

Get a good Trakker, but check with your insurance company about firms/models as you might get upto an extra 15% discount.

Consider getting standard alarm modded or additional alarm fitted

Next physical security. Consider bonnet security hinges as they can be nicked quickly on standard hinges.

Decent steering lock or pedal lock.

Drive?

A remap will improve drivability. Keep to a highly regarded firm on here, BAS, Alive, IRB. We have a BAS remap and am happy with it.

If doing lots of towing consider a larger intercooler to go with the remap.

Protect your vehicle from general bumps etc.

Rear bumperettes protect those vunerable corners. Rock and tree sliders are good off road and good in car parks from people opening their doors against your pride and joy.

Then consider sound proofing and a rear door gas strut.

+1 Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Stop shooting, sell your firearms, then you'll have even more to spend on your Defender.
