I like how the caption under the photo says "The chain is to prevent pilfering" - would that be pilfering of the girls or the bonnet?
Cheers! |

Ehem... my muff-magnet specially for German girls Click image to enlarge ...well actually it's my wife's. Please don't tell her I borrow it when she's away  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I don't care if it's a "girls car", as long as good looking girls get in
I wouldn't want a "chap's car" 'cos I'm not into that sort of thing Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

That one above isn't the one I'm meaning though. The one above's chassis is the same one that the Mitsubishi Colt CZ uses. Used to have one and very good it was too (the Colt). I mean the squat short tiny Smart. No Guts, No Glory.

I drove a Smart for quite a few years, they're excellent cars (even though it has some weird gear changing issues). It was the car we had our first overland adventure in, we drove it from London to Klagenfurt in Austria (about 900 miles) fully loaded with all my triathlon gear. I had to modify the bike rack to lower the rack so luggage was in the slip stream of the car as the little 600cc engine wasn't strong enough to pull the car at speed with the high level bike rack!
We left London at 6am and drove for 18 hours to get to Klagenfurt and it cost us less than €100 in fuel and tolls. Brilliant little car. |
