so both of my doors had the traditional rubber strip along the bottom until.....
had one of my doors replaced under warranty and now they're different. one has the new rubber wrap round seal the other the original straight rubber strip. should I be bothered? |

Does it bother you?
I would say yes, make a fuss and put up with the inconvenience. 2002 Defender 110 DC |

I'd be bothered about that, I'd have thought they could change the rubbers so they are the same.
Hope they are both the same colour Bit like the 'droopy wings' scenario, its easy for them to fix - mine were done on first service and it had bothered me for best part of a year. Have a nice word with the dealers and I'm sure they will sort if for you. I've had a word with the dealers and they're quite happy to fix it.

I seem to remember seeing an earlier thread re changing to the new style (assuming this is the direction you are going) and it didn't sound like they were all that much money and easy to fit.
K9f will be along with the correct thread later hopefully. dj 1989 200tdi 90 csw 2011 110 usw Orkney grey Buy British 🇬🇧 Defender Clothing Designs available at http://www.rangesports.com/acatalog/Defender-Stuff.html |
