That's only the 1000, wouldn't want to unleash the unrestricted 200mph 1300 Hayabusa. But I do want to go to Nurburgring. Thumbs Up

Pffft 200mph on a crotch rocket. Come off of a bike at that speed it'd probably be your last few seconds of life. Shocked Must be heavy at 1300 too? $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Obviously don't plan on coming off, but being on a bike is like nothing else, the input required compared with a car is so much more involved. The acceleration is like nothing else, far quicker than 'super cars' 0-100 in less than 6secs. 1300 is not much heavier than a 1000 about 220kg with 190bhp not suggesting that I'd be quicker than the GT3 round Nurburgring though. But anyway I'm interested in going on a trip and may consider taking the Defender.

Around the ring, bikes don't fare too well, it's far too twisty.

I must admit, I can't get my head around motorbikes and how fast they are, I've seen a bike do a quarter mile pass at 249mph !! A French guy called Eric Teboul, it was just about the craziest thing I've ever seen !

As for a 'ring trip in the Defenders.... I'm in Thumbs Up

Thats a job for the Bowler then, the 12 plate Defender would embarries itself. To heavy to slow. If i did what they did on top gear when they stripped the Transit out there would be one hell off a big pile of tools and stuff in the car park. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.
