Guys - a few ( 4 ) of us are planning a long weekend down in Aug to either Lake District or North Y Dales -
We have stayed near Kirby Stephen in past ( log cabin ) but this time plan to camp - needs to be a formal site with showers etc - so no wild camping - Needs to get the hair dryer plugged in for the good lady. Need 5 pitches I've done the usual google search and am now totally confused - Any one suggest decent sites ( need to be dog friendly ) Anywhere between Hawes & Skipton ? Lakes @ Ambleside Plan is to to take in some local sites / perhaps a few Greenlanes ( any recommendations ) but none that are too difficult as we will have a shiny D4 with us as part of group. Some cycling and take in some local hospitality ( Ales ) Thanks Defender 110 County SW Disco 3 HSE Freelander 2 HSE - SOLD going back to a car www.lothian4x4response.org |
