Is Land Rover and Jaguar SRS the same?
I know that Defenders don't have an SRS installed (Safety Restraint System; Airbags, seat belt pre-tensioner etc....), but does anyone know if the SRS in other Land Rovers and Range Rovers are the same as the Jaguar ones?

Reason?

I have a Jaguar XK and now for the yuck bit, the misses Niece decided to projectile vomit in it the other day.

To clean I had to remove the seats, without thinking I whipped them out but didn't disconnect the battery. The seats have airbags and belt pre-tensioners fitted, so of course, the SRS warning light is now lit.

I'm looking for a local independent to reset it for me as I think Jaguar charge £75 for it. If they are the same as the LR/RR ones and the diagnostic equipment is the same, then it opens more options.

It's a shame it doesn't log it in the ECU as then I could reset it with my obd2 reader. Craig Rogers
