Mine were 3/8 BSF x 5/8". I don't think they changed on later models, but if they did then it'll likely be M10.
Land Rover part number SH406061L is the BSF bolt, or get one from a fasteners place. |

If you're wondering why they're BSF I believe it's the same thread that was fitted on the diff from it's design.
Which I think is a 1932 P2 limonsine! 90XS Tdci John Eales 110 CSW G4 Edition 88" Series 3 Racer |

i fitted one and it came with the bolts? did yours not come??
On the front QT diff guard you remove the guard covering the bar (sorry not sure of the name) and then reuse those bolts |

Yes, mine came with bolts but wouldnt fit. I went and bought a couple of the BSF bolts and they dont fit either (and turn out they were the same as the ones supplied by QT).
I took the simple solution of tapping the holes and can now fit a M10 bolt. I guess my diff was made differently to all others....dont you just love Land Rovers.. cheers simon |

I fitted QT diff guards and the bolts they came with we're spot on!
However, I do remember that the front was much easier than the back to fit. Removing the tie rod protector from the front diff meant that the bolt holes were clean. On the rear however, the bolt holes had nothing in them and were consequently full of crud which meant the supplied bolts seemed not to fit. A good clean out of the threads in the diff soon sorted the problem! Andy. |

QT Diff Rock Sliders/Guards. Just fitted a pair of these this week, believe these to be well made pieces of kit, complete with all bolts and fitting instructions. No problems with fitting front diff slider, bolt holes clean due to removal of original installed bracket . Fitting the rear diff slider required cleaning out and use of a tap to clear the two previously unused boltholes on the nose of the rear diff, other than that no problems
