Likeomg.....Very very nice. With the rears fitted, you will undoubtedly have the BEST in the braking dept.
As I said, I had similar brakes on our GTO Coupe, and they were awesome, both in looks & performance, never had an issue with them in 75000ks.
One point, with big brakes, there is a bedding in procedure. Have you bedded in yours? Usual procedure is 10 stops in quick succession from 60MPH, but DO NOT STOP. The AP agent here told me to "get 'em smokin", which I did, so yes go out do it. It improves brake performance, & stops squeal caused by a build up of "film" on the pads.
Cheers, Pickles.

well to aid in the performance side of things, the intercooler was my biggest problem, having a weird air con set up didn't allow for the use of a big intercooler... i had previously bought a big intercooler and tried to fit it but ended up sending it back as it wouldn't work, but lately i want more from the car (hence the big brakes) so ordered another alive tuning ultimate intercooler...

didn't take too long to strip the car down as I've done it a few times, so out with the old.

the intercooler actually went in easier than i was expecting, on about my 3rd try lining it up it all just slotted into place connected the hoses and the car started to go back together quickly

and then for the most important thing from the magic man, mr wood. the atric is such a good piece of kit, very simple to use and with the support of Gary remaps come hours after emailing him the originals

The difference is yet again huge gains over stage 1, more than i was expecting, i will be going the hybrid turbo route early next year when i get off my next ship (i leave on saturday for another 4 month trip)

it's comically fast now. i agree with a hybrid turbo / intercooler / remap is too much for a defender in standard form, brakes and suspension have to be considered too.

cars back in the garage until march now. I'm off down to southampton on a ship tomorrow north coast of spain and then transatlantic to the southern caribbean

Doubt he'll notice or even care about a few paltry horses. It is after all still a Defender and doubtful it'll be dragging down at Santa Pod raceway. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!
