Looks to me like a lad that just picked up a land rover magazine and picked out a load of things at random and bolted them on. Kinda like a child, I want this and this and this and this..........
Wouldn't interest me at all. |

In some respects it isn't that far removed from what I've done / am going to do to mine, although mine is an auto and a lot tidier inside as far as electrics are concerned.
However, the main differences are that mine is a keeper, I'm building it for a specific purpose (trip to Oz) and I want the engine to last (hence no silly attempt at stupid HP and mad daft retunes). Our blog - http://landytravels.com/ Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |

Horrid..... should be arrested for cruelty to Land Rovers!
My favourite bit is where he has average size wheels and tires but has possibly the BIGGEST arches in the world!! Glyn |

190bhp max with those mods i'd say but as Alive are regulars on here maybe Gary can give us the lowdown on this tune. |

Solomon is/was one of my customers, in fact he called me yesterday asking for a phone number.
The vehicle is ex-Nene Overland/Devon 4x4. We've fitted many of the accessories. He has been a good customer in that he knows what he wants and he can afford it. It's not 250bhp although it is pretty maxed up with one of Gary's Stage 4's. Even with those Lightforce lamps, it will still sit at 90 on the M5. I'd like to fill everyone in with Nene's antics regarding this vehicle when he purchased it, but that would be unprofessional. |

£25k spent on the truck ???? .... blimey... does Solomon own a mine or something (geddit ????? ). Not my cup of tea but his cash/his truck etc. Hope he spent more than £100 on a Disklok security wise.
Just for my curiosity, apart from the suspected difference in price tags, how is a 'Modified MAF' different to a normal one? Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless. |

A modified TD5, beyond some extra boost and an inter cooler, will put more air through the MAF than it is calibrated with he ECU to recognise and causes he ECU to go not limp mode. |

That doesn't take much, a standard TD5 will sit at 87 until the tank runs out, a tuned one will manage much more than hat without breaking 200bhp |
