Defender 90XS TDCi 2008 – Stornoway Grey
It is with great regret that I am putting my Puma up for sale. Bought last November from Roger Young Land Rover the car had done just over 6,000 miles when purchased with myself as the second owner. Now at just over 10,000 miles. Bought as a replacement to my Td5 (sold to Gareth)  Click image to enlarge It is a standard XS with the usual benefits – black half leather heated seats, air con, heated windscreen, CD radio with iPod connection, six speed manual gearbox, etc. The car has a factory fitted winch bumper and Warn 9.5ti winch with correct cut off key below passenger seat and corded controller. I have only used the winch to pull out some tree trunks from a copse. Click image to enlarge More pictures in my gallery under "Puma" I have made a couple of minor upgrades which include: Replacing the steel winch wire with Dyneema rope and new heavy duty hook Replacing the steel fairlead roller with an aluminium hawse (Both the old steel fairlead and wire rope will come with the car) Stainless steel light surrounds Stainless steel Allen screws for the bonnet Dixon Bate tow hook (used once) Silicon windscreen wipers iPod connector (nothing fancy!) Smaller number plate & mounting plate – the standard plate and mount will come with the car and, for those of a nervous disposition, can be changed within 5 minutes (though I have to say, I have never been stopped). I had the gear box oil changed earlier this year – just as a protective measure I have a Mantec (Land Rover standard item) underbody protection kit (steering guard) which I’ve not yet fitted. This will be sold with the car by negotiation if wanted. Photos of the car with standard plate and wire rope/roller fairlead are in my gallery (under "Cars"). There’s a small scratch across the rear door onto the body (see gallery picture), a couple of fine scratches (which should polish out) on the body behind the driver’s door and a bit of rubbing under the driver’s door (from exiting the vehicle in work shoes). Otherwise, it’s pretty much perfect! Serviced: 30th May 2008 Pre Delivery Inspection Roger Young Land Rover 30th Sept 2009 12,000 mile service (@ 3,379 miles) Roger Young Land Rover 11th Jan 2011 24,000 mile service (@4,585 miles) Roger Young Land Rover 3rd November 2011 36,000 mile service (@6,009 miles) Roger Young Land Rover MOT to June 2013 and tax to November 2012. Balance of Land Rover Approved Used Warranty until November 2012 - this includes LR Assist. I have not offroaded the car – except for trundling around the fields around the house - it's just too nice! Most journeys are from my house to Chippenham station – around 10 miles – so plenty of time to warm the car up, and to Heathrow – around 75 miles. I’d hoped that this one was a keeper. Unfortunately, a change of circumstance means that I am taking my wife’s Discovery 4 and buying her an Evoque  .
The car can be viewed in Malmesbury – 10 minutes from Junction 17 of the M4. Nearest stations are Chippenham or Kemble – both around 10 mins – happy to pick up. Viewings at weekends and some week days as I can work from home.
