Puma owners manual
Anyone else think that the owners handbook supplied with the Puma Tdci is a little on the anaemic side. Other handbooks like the one supplied with the 200 tdi (or even a series 111) contain lots of information regarding servicing and maintenance. The handbook supplied with the Puma is packed with warnings but little on actual servicing or maintenance.Does not even give details on how to change the airfilter element let alone top up your gearbox or diffs.
I find that the more information given with the vehicle gives me a better understanding of it. It takes some of the mystery out of it. I love the vehicle just wish they had stuck with the traditional Land Rover handbook full of diagrams and lots of how to information.
Anyone actually got around to counting the amount of warnings given in the current handbook? I know a lot of these are necessary but the seem to have forgotten about the practical side of things. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Hi Spudfan,
You are right very little info in owners manual.
I wish Land Rover would sell the workshop and parts manual instead of having to get all the detailed information on the GTR!
Anybody had a go at removing the radio/middle console/dash? I need to take a live feed from somewhere to mount the illumination of a compass (instead of a rubbishy sat nav which the maps go out of date often!!).
Everything today seems to be 'money grabbing' in after market purchases.

Thanks, Grockle.
Managed to do it without removing the console - but will come in handy for future reference!
Cheers
