Lit-up console reflecting on drivers window - a Puma problem
Maybe because I'm tall & have the driver's seat leaned back full, or maybe its same for everyone, but when I'm driving in the dark, the lit-up console reflects in the door window, and just in the patch where I look through it to see what's in the door mirror. Its the outer half of the mirror as well. Mad

I've put up with this for a couple of years..before really seeing how innovative you guys are!

Can anyone suggest a sensible, practical, solution; or know of a fitment that would shield the window.

The console is not sunk deep enough into the dash, & so not hooded enough. Because the steering wheel is close to the console's top, any sufficient home made hood would fill up wheel grip finger space. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Don't get your rear windows tinted it makes it worse. When I look in my rear view mirror at night I get a perfect view of whats actually in front of me.....

I think its the window that needs non reflective film. Who makes/sells it?

AFA tinted, the XS has those as OE spec & the rear view mirror reflects whats in front, catadioptric effect I think. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Same here - I was quite surprised the first time I went out at night, looked in the mirror and saw the silhouette of two people seemingly sat in the back. Shocked

I can see the hazard light switch (red) in the mirror. Less distracting when the mirror doesn't blur. How about and anti glare rear view mirror like some of the Navara D40's have and BMW's. Wonder if that would make any difference at all? Main reason for the reflection is the angle of the rear glass is flat and at the same vertical angle practically as the dash and windscreen. With mainbeam and especially spot lights on that reflects too. (You can guess how I know) $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
