With the new trailer we have been looking for a cover as it is going to have to live outside. Here are some sketchup views of it. As soon as we have it I will let you have a mini review. I am also going to be fitting out the trailer and if anyone is interested will post some information about how it goes. The cover has arrived.
We went to a few people for a quote - some didn't reply and the best feedback we got was from Just Car Covers. http://www.just-carcovers.co.uk/ Their price was a tad over £200 which I thought was a bit of a bargain given that the other people who I have used before, Classic Car Covers came in at over double that . So I was expecting a bit of a let down, possibly But when the cover arrived I could not have been more delighted. So here is a mini review: From my dimensions JCC have made up the cover to the sketch up plan. It comes in a nice storage bag Click image to enlarge and is made of a very similar material to the outdoor cover i had made form my Marcos by Classic Car Covers. A breathable waterproof grey material. Click image to enlarge The cover has a bungee cord on the base to stop it turning into a trailer-kite. Click image to enlarge And yes it fits! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Rain trials will take place in about half an hour according to the weather forecast and i will follow up with any developments. Conclusion. For £200 this is a brilliant, purpose made cover and I would say anyone keeping their trailer outside would do well to have one made. Brilliant. Though to match your drawings, it needs ironing
Great write up too, thanks for sharing. |
