Something very special. 1968 Toyota 2000GT
Just for interest - remember this incarnation as a drop top in James Bond! A very rare motor indeed, no surprise it was displayed at Goodwood. It will be BIG money Shocked Anything JDclassics do is not cheap Rolling Eyes

Edit -tracked down a previous advert for it by another company who were asking £245,000, told you it wouldn't be cheap Whistle

Seems a shame that the are not leaving it in unrestored condition to keep it totally original , suppose it will end up in a collection never being used Confused

Very nice, but I don't think I'd pay £245,000 for it though.

Seems it was already restored 8 years ago - Toyotas and rust eh! Wink

JD classics are well known in the Jag fraternity, a respray alone would be 15K + let alone any prep work Rolling Eyes Top end stuff though.

After the hype in prices of E-Types especially due to their anniversary (last 3 years - in general gone up by roughly 20K for a Series one) look at all the E-types on the market now as people are trying to unload as prices drop Laughing
