This morning while driving down off of the Mountain from St.-Cergue Switzerland, I ran into a convoy of more, and I mean more then 50 brand new Range Rovers and Discoverys driving towards France from the direction of Nyon, Switzerland. I was so impressed at the scale of so many Landrovers.. Sadly no Defenders, but still a sight to see. All with GB Plates, but from what I could see with Left hand drive.. I tried to count them and after 40 I saw that they were numbered.. the biggest number being 57. 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw

Again I saw this long queue of Landrovers Ranges, and Dicos driving up the mountain.. today only counted 20. But they were all Left hand drive with GB plates.. all of the plates started with "VX09".
RB Also say a beaut of a 110 brew cab painted in Orange with a black hood.. no bumper of Handware on it.. looks like the guy was delivering it to be tooled up.. 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw Landrovers of Switzerland Club member |

This is a good question.. I can tell you it wasn't a Fire and Ice model, because the lights were the standard ones.. Also the orange wasn't metalic.. The roof was also Orange.. just the hood was black.. along with the tires, rims, and under carriage.. looked damn kool..
I like the orange color.. and If I had the money would make an expedition model in Orange.. 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw Landrovers of Switzerland Club member |

I can answer this one: DVLA form 'VX302'. A vehicle purchased for export purposes is allocated an 'XA-XF' registration mark.......... it then goes on about etching windows and that the registration WILL change. I wouldn't say it is a Land Rover thing as the cars have to be registred in the UK (For export) and get the reg-plate and then when it gets to the country it will be staying it will get re-registred and re-plated there. Counted a few more this morning.. At the turn off for my place, there was a arrow printed over a LR Sticker.. I think I'm going to see about getting that tonight.
