Many posts about burnt contacts, etc.. But what wattage is all going via that light switch? Only the headlamps (2x55W) or also the power for sidelights, for the tail lights, for all the little lamps which light up the center dash buttons, etc.? How many amps does that switch really have to live (or die) with? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
