Is evo 1 a brand or a grade of oil? Or could anyone put up a link as I find it hard to get into first.

Web address above but probably not links or clicky?

Evo1 is a brand of oil from Difflock. I have used twice now, had standard grade gearbox oil put in at recent service but when the colder weather came so did sticky 2nd! I have reverted to evo oil and gear change is like silk Very Happy

Expensive but it has worked for me and it lasts longer so not so expensive in the long run.

Regards

Adjusted the two springs on the gear lever this evening, I noticed some wear on the housing that the pins slide up and down in, has anyone replaced/repaired this ?

I'd imagine it would tighten up the gear selection another, although adjusting the springs was a great improvement.

Hope your right, have had a crunching 2nd gear for years, especially when cold. Have just ordered 3 litres of the Evo 1 hope it does the trick ! 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top
