My 200TDI With Straight Through Exhaust and Side Exit
Hi guys

Well after fitting my new voltage regulator today me and son andy had a look at making a rear section to fit the new 200tdi exhaust we have just bought and used some bits of the old rear 2.5td section and bits from the new rear tdi silencer we did it and we are both well chuffed and it looks and sounds great and here are the pic's

Yeah it looks a bit cheesy some how fitting it before the rear wheel, the only advantage i can see there is the fact that you would have a shorter exhaust and probably with having the N/S window closed you will still here the exhaust better than you would having it coming out after the wheel Smile Graham

It did do but i have today fitted a rear bracket that comes off the rear X member to hold the tail pipe up where it comes out of the hole also i didn't realize when i originally fitted it that the exhaust tail pipe was fowling the body strengthener as i couldn't see it when i fitted it but i have sorted it now by cutting some of the body strengthener away to clear the exhaust Very Happy
