found it http://www.mgsmotorsport.com/Rigid-led-vehicle-lighting.htm
Seems that both are a UK distributor! You some times find this happens, selling through the back door etc. As BP has said they are both listed on the RIGID site as dealers. Looks like ZEN is the main one and MGS is no. 2 looking at the graphics. Personally thats out of order IMHO, RIGID should have one distributor on a tiny Island like ours. And they have loads in Europe! Again out of order. |

I've bought my Rigid Industries lights from Mike. Have 2 SRM2 flush mounted above the rear door (probably the first one to do this ) They look so cool compared to having a mounted bracketed LED lamp or work lamp, and as their beam is diffused flood have a range of about 30ft which is ideal for my application for unloading a fully laden trailer of garden waste in the dark.
Also have another Rigid Industries product on the front as a work / extra from light - technically illegal, but is set at an angle to point slightly upwards - partly as I hate the snow blindness the strong light produces on the ground, but also the fact that in the UK - its you tend to be driving up or down hills, and its lights up the overhead tree line above the main beam to create quite a illumination bounce. I can certainly vouch for Mike, he also has links with D3 Club. Excellent product especially as they are all ip68 (look it up on wikipedia) compare that to inferior LED's and you'll realize these are a fantastic product that complements the Defender - well it's only my opinion. Cheers Peter |

Hi Guys
just been reading your posts we have only recently started selling these lights to other people ie businesses and the general public we solely supplied the emergency services military and marine applications with these for over two years, We also provide a whole host of other lighting as well When we approched rigid and told them what we wanted to do we were told by them that there was no other dealer/ distributor in the uk and then a few months later we found out about Zen Overland also doing them of which I have no problem with It wouldnt have surprized me if they told the chaps at ZEN the same thing. In my opinion it is good to have more than one company supplying the same product. What I dont agree with is companies discounting a really good product and reducing profit margins, as profit margins are our wages and due to shipping, exchange rates and uk taxes there isnt a lot of profit in these and you couldnt survive on selling these alone as the selling margins in these are to say the least pitiful. We of course dont just sell RI lights but have full repairing and fitting service for these items aswell. Rigid is not a big seller in the UK due to their price and RI are trying to get one of us to invest a huge some of money into their products which in my opinion in this economic climate is financial suicide as every year their will be someone that will launch something else with better optics and better leds. We know this as emergency service lights change all the time to better generation LEDS, most manufacturers now buy leds from one of three companies, cree, osram and philips. We deal with companies from all over the world and we find the americans one of the hardest to deal with as sometimes it is their way or no way and they wont come and go with you as UK companies will. Maybe the chaps at Zen would like to comment aswell and see if they have a different version of events because it would be interesting to find out cheers Mike |

I do not think that Zen have anything do do with this web site - they mainly sell Bike related products - and so its unlikley that they will comment about Rigid Industries.
They have an open web site with all their prices on display which helps the decission process. I also think its good to have two importers as it keeps the prices keen - as all businesses have to. |

Hi All
Just to let everyone know there is an updated website and new 2013 catalogue from Rigid Industries, this catalogue is available for download but is 32MB so it takes a while to fully download. The good news is there is a host of new product been introduced so if your interested go and have a look. I have now been given approval by Martin to sell on here with the same arrangements I have on the D3 forum so if you want to know anything or require any Rigid Industries product then please do not hesitate to contact me cheers Mike |

TD5 radiator which has a winch and lightbar in front of it.
OK is the radiator getting tired, damaged fins, blocked with mud??? Might not have anything to do with the remap, but the radiator might need some TLC. Brendan |
