my 110 is due in today for c2 weeks and when I phoned to confirm the details of the load car it turns out to be a citreon c3
what do you think of that? I'm kind of thinking that if I'd just spent £70k on a FFRR and it was in for some warranty work I'd be a little disappointed with a c3 - woud you? |

If youd spent 70k you would be getting something else
Unfortunately quite normal with dealers. When I take my Sport in for service I sometimes get a Disco, Defender or Freelander and I once had a Fiesta, but not for 2 weeks ! Call them, complain, remind them its for 2 weeks and insist on a like for like swap as you need the Land Rover for work / travelling / business etc. Is the dealer near Coventry by any chance ? Good luck 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top |

^^ Spot on. Quite dissapointing really. On the plus side, out here in Cyprus there isn't such a thing as courtosy cars so a C3 would be better than nothing.
LR assist was good though- when mine went in for EGR valve they supplied me with a brand new FFRR HSE. Glyn |

I always get a Defender when mine goes in at the local independent... mind you, it comes with half a bale of hay in the back and stinking of collie

I think the point to make is that the loan cars are responsibility of the garage..... they are in no way supported by Land Rover. I guess it is hit and miss depending on dealership.
When in Ripon I was loaned a Fiesta whilst mine went in for a service and a few little jobs. I was a bit miffed but the service and work quality there is so good I putup with it. Glyn |

Coventry LR dealership always lend me a Freelander.
They always ask me to insure it...when I say I can't...they just cover me on theirs. Customer service is ridiculously slow mind!!! nothing wrong with a smart car but won't tow like a defender! When we take the smart in for service we get a smart car, but its a left hand drive diesel one, fun none the less. When we first had it serviced at Samrt we had all sorts, a smart for2. smart 4 for 4, merc slk (yes really!) and a PT cruiser! I've had decent LRs when getting the LR serviced, last one was a RR sport (white drug dealer special) warranty work is different down here, its a hire car from over the road, can't remember what it was but silver anyway.
