Hydraulic Oil
Any experts on here who know about hydraulic oil ?

Currently use sae 46 hydraulic oil in my winch. What is recommended in temperatures down to -40c and where can I get it. Pertek only supply cold storage oil in 25 litres, I only need about 2 litres !

Don't mind buying 25 litres if I share the remainder otherwise will sit in garage for a long time and therefore a waste of money !

Therefore what spec oil do I need for low temps and who supplies it ? 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top

Go and take a trip to a local agricultural machinery dealers or speak to a machinery hire shop. Pick ones with a workshop where they are servicing hydraulically powered kit, a good mechanic would be able to advise you and would be in a position to sell smaller quantities.
