2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Tonga Green

Plastic panels

Has anyone fitted the plastic panels you can buy to replace original aluminium?

They are naturally cheaper & I was wondering how resilient they are i.e. do they crack (insted of dent) or spring back on impact?, are they made from car bumper type plastic, are they road legal etc?

Any advice or experience on plastic panels would be appreciated. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

nooooooooooooooo! they fit diabolical, well the ones ive seen anyways. They just seem to be nasty, nothing fits like the side indicator for example. i would consider fitting them to an offroad vehicle as im sure they work out alot cheaper
