Genuine or go to your local factors and ask for the best quality. Avoid the gimmicky blades

Nothing to do with the blades, unless it only occurs on dry screen - rubber sticking - more likely to be the "gearboxes" for each wiper. Had mine replaced eventually - was intermittent at first and only after 15 mins use - but replaced under warranty and now silent. Joy.

Mine make a clack noise on direction change as well... It's the blade hitting the rubber under the windscreen. I found a bit of tightening (although a new gearbox may be best if under warrenty) sorted it out.

familymad this is quite a common problem. Mine has been the same from new - 'clack clack clack'. When it was serviced last week the dealer said there was 'excessive lateral movement' and new wheelboxes are on order - under warranty of course. Most dealers will be familiar with this so I'd get it checked out
